For $68 you can enable a family to sustain itself by providing the tools necessary for growing their own food.

A farmer's kit consists of:
1 all purpose shovel
1 pickaxe
1 garden machete

These are the primary tools that a Haitian farmer uses to cultivate his fields. The crops will not only be used to feed the family but will also be sold to pay for other needs the family has, including sending the children to school. These crops are extremely important to the family.

Team of Oxen

While this gift is given to a specific family, it will benefit the whole community since the owner will help out his family, friends, and neighbors by using the oxen team to plow their fields too. Being able to plow a field this way is much more effecient and effective than tilling the ground by hand.

The gift of a team of oxen includes:
2 oxen
1 yoke
1 plow
training on care of the oxen and use of the yoke and plow
