C3 Partnerships (Connected Church to Church)

  • Does your Short Term Missions program have a long-term strategic impact?
  • Does it resource and prepare a foreign church to carry out the great commission?
  • Does it have an impact on a real community?
  • Does it impact every life in your church?

RMI facilitates C3 Partnerships in Haiti and can help
you achieve these goals and more
Our C3 Partnership model is all about doing Short Term Missions right. RMI developed the C3 Partnership Program in 1980 to enable two churches from vastly different cultures to join together in a long-term, sustainable, culturally relevant, strategic relationship with the purpose of transforming one another and their communities spiritually, physically, socially, and economically through Christ.

One of the most important aspects of the model is that RMI is the “3rd-party facilitator” providing “feet on the ground” who helps guide both partners to culturally relevant ministry together. RMI will provide the accountability, reporting, oversight, and counsel that is needed to best meet the needs and goals of both partners. RMI enables the Church to actively minister to one another, and together into their communities for the end purpose of seeing people evangelized, churches planted, needs met, and lives transformed in Christ.  Our staff (35+) of both Haitian and missionary leaders are all dedicated to facilitating your local church partnership.  This is what we do.

Currently, RMI is facilitating partnerships between churches in the United States and the largest Haitian church association in Haiti, the Evangelical Baptist Mission of Southern Haiti (MEBSH).

RMI's Unique 5 Point Impact Strategy:  Each C3 partnership focuses on ministering to one another and their community using our 5 Point Impact Strategy.  These points provide a holistic approach to the partnership.  They are:
  • Evangelism and Church Planting
  • Discipleship
  • Social Compassion
  • Education
  • Community Development

C3 Partnerships are:
  • Reciprocal - A warm relationship and collaboration in ministry designed to bring mutual benefit to both churches.
  • Cross-Cultural - The churches cross all cultural bonds to come together in a culturally relevant manner guided by RMI.
  • Intimate - Language, cultural, racial and economic barriers are broken as each church sees, feels, experiences and embraces the needs of their Sister Church.
  • In-depth - Partnership involves the discussing of felt needs as opposed to assumed needs. Then the churches pray, plan, create and work out solutions to these physical and spiritual concerns together.
  • Ongoing - Relationships deepen as the churches continue to worship, witness, and work together over many years.
  • Practical - Where there is economic or practical need, the US Church can offer various forms of aid through RMI’s guidance.
  • Evangelistic – You are able to assist and resource the local church to evangelize their community and plant churches in unreached areas for Christ.
  • Spiritual - The ultimate goal of all endeavors is the spiritual enrichment of both churches so together they can see their communities transformed for Christ.

Join a C3 Partnership and let RMI help your people experience this kind of impact in their lives and your C3 partner.

What do pastors say about
their C3 Partnerships?

As a mission pastor, I have worked with mission partners in 27 countries. Of these, none has my greater respect and appreciation than RMI. While many organizations offer short-term relief, RMI works from a resolute determination to assist, equip, train and empower churches in both the US and Haiti to work together to address some of the most challenging circumstances in our world today. They have a developed a strategic plan based on the conviction that U.S. and Haitian churches working together can become powerful change agents.  C3 Partnerships are the foundation of that strategy. Built on long-term relationships between members of the body of Christ, church partners can address the needs of the community, church, school, families and even individuals at the local level. Seeking solutions as equals conquers the loss of dignity.  RMI is making a nation-size difference at a local level.
~ Pastor Tim Osborne, Trinity Bible Church

I have had the privilege of partnering with Dame Marie as our C3 Partner for 13+ years.  One distinctive about RMI is the intense preparation in advance of our team’s arrival and the attention to our needs while ministering at our Sister Church.  Translators...flexibility to adapt as needed-this has permitted us to maintain, build and cultivate a rich relationship with our Haitian C3 Partner.  This would never have been possible without the training, knowledge and expertise RMI provides.
