RMI offers short, intense ministry trips called “Vision Trips”. Many churches, potential donors, and potential missionaries often want to have a better understanding of RMI, its ministries, its staff, and what a C3 Partnership looks like prior to deeper involvement. They want to have a better vision of how the Lord can use them to impact national churches and communities through RMI. This is good stewardship and RMI understands and appreciates that need - this is why we provide Vision Trips that are shorter than a usual team but provide a succinct overview of who RMI is and what it has to offer. Come and experience short-term missions being done right through a long-term C3 partnership that will revolutionize your missions’ outreach as a church, dramatically change your people who participate, and have eternal impact on a national church and community.

The cost of a Vision Trip varies depending on a number of circumstances. For all vision trips, you have 2 costs: 1. Your roundtrip airfare from the US. (For Haiti this would be to Port-au-Prince and back. In the Dominican Republic this would be to Santiago and back.) 2. Your in-country costs. In Haiti, this includes airfare for a round trip in-country flight from Port-au-Prince to Les Cayes, on the ground transportation, as well the costs of your in-country room and board. In the Dominican Republic, the cost covers in-country transportation and to help cover the costs of your in-country room and board. However, if you are a church or mission leader in your church on your first trip as a church to Haiti or the Dominican Republic with RMI, and are considering your church becoming a C3 partner, contact us for potential special pricing. Due to RMI’s desire to introduce new partners to RMI’s numerous ministries, at times we might be able to provide some subsidy with the cost. Contact RMI for current pricing.

Take the first step to understand RMI better by sending a team of influential church leaders to "see, hear, and touch" the ministry.

Vision Teams are usually scheduled Friday or Saturday to Wednesday and can include members from a variety of churches. Dates vary and a trip can be customized just for your church leaders if certain criteria are met. (A vision team is usually immersed in seeing and experiencing the ministry rather than “doing” ministry due to the short time frame and intense nature of the trip.)

Through a Vision Trip to Haiti or the Dominican Republic you are able to:

Visit several different national churches in various settings, meet with their pastors and leaders to get a feel for the challenges they face in spreading the Gospel in their area and experience the impact a US C3 Partner has or can make on their church and community.
Experience the Hope for Kidz child sponsorship program by visiting a school or after school program, etc. and meet children excited about learning and hopeful for their future.
Potentially experience the Hot Lunch School Feeding Program in action and see how a nutritious hot meal can improve a child’s health, and ability to focus and learn (Depends on availability).
Engage with national christians in worship of the Lord in a country church that will immerse you in the national culture. After the church service enjoy a meal with church leaders and then visit their community.
Visit national families (both Christian and non-Christian) in their homes, encourage or challenge them with the Gospel as well as pray with them, leaving a small gift or a case of food aid with them.
See a variety of RMI’s facilities, ministries, and projects in action.
Interact with RMI’s Field leaders as well as other RMI staff, both missionary and nationals. Experience their heartbeat for God and reaching the lost in Haiti or the Dominican Republic.
Return home with a deeper understanding of how you can impact both your church and a national church and community through a C3 Partnership.
